The Alabama Association of Business Continuity Planners (AABCP) was established as a non-profit organization of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Professionals who are with companies throughout the State of Alabama. We meet quarterly to discuss the latest information in our areas of expertise and to exchange information freely.
The activities of the association shall strive to strengthen professional communications among management personnel responsible for directing the design and implementation of business continuity and recovery planning in the respective organizations.
The purpose of our meetings are as follows:
Provide a forum for reviewing concerns regarding all aspects of BC/DR planning.
Provide a means for examination of issues and concerns in developing BC/DR Recovery plans and BIA analysts.
Provide presentations of issues and opportunities by leading Business Recovery Professionals and Companies who offer services to the industry.
The AABCP strives to provide an environment for the free exchange of ideas and methodology concerning business continuity and disaster recovery with others engaged in such activities.
